All hope relinquished.
Innards destroyed and
This mortal throne.
Has its day.
Each of us
Has our say.

Great poem — !
Sorry to have been AWOL — had a weird WordPress global-settings-hiccup. o.O Back now and still reading your blog!
Glad to have you back. WordPress does have its moments. ;)x
Witches and innards and spells, oh my! Another wonderful Halloween poem. 🙂
Gross, more like. 😉 Why are people obsessed with Hallowe’en? I don’t really get the fascination. It’s even taking on bigger proportions here. Adults as well as kids. Must just be me. Scary scares me!x
It’s fun to dress up silly…I loved dressing up with my kids just as much as they did, not to mention the treats, OH MY!!! YUM! Love your poem 🙂
I like dressing up too. Just not for Hallowe’en! :)x
I enjoy the comments you make …
I like this one..a lot…
.I dress as me on Halloween…much more fun….
Love the poem, felt like I was chanting as I sat for a spell….
Thank you….for sharing….
Take Care…You Matter…
There’s no shutting me up, it seems. Even in comments. 😉 I do like dressing up, doing a bit of acting but I’m just not big on Hallowe’en. Too many years of thinking up and making costumes maybe. I liked it well enough as a kid. I just don’t get the fascination adults have for it. Or the fact that it appears to be becoming an even bigger festival. We used to just dress up, go out round the neighbourhood and that was that. Now the kids come with adults in tow (sign of the times, I suppose) and some of them are dressed up. The shops go gaga over what they can sell for it. It’s just become another big commercial endeavour. I’m a bit of a spoilsport, maybe. ;)x
or maybe you like to keep it simple?
too complicated for these days…I love helping my daughter do her kids parties, but don’t want to be there for them…
it has the same appeal of Christmas starting before Halloween…by the time it gets here…I am sick of hearing and seeing it….
I think I am getting indifferent in my Crone Season…
Hope you are having a Sunday doing what you do best!
I’ve been out visiting an ex workmate with my two youngest in tow. Nice day, good blether.
I never get prepped for Christmas or anything else for that matter until about the last minute. I hate having to think too far in advance and plan for what I don’t know how I’ll be feeling. I’m kinda like that with lots of things. 😉
So I don’t get too fed up with it before it arrives. More like a mad dash round the shops.
I know people who have their Christmas presents bought and wrapped already. That blows me away.
Hope you’ve had a lovely relaxing day.x
