    1. Gross, more like. 😉 Why are people obsessed with Hallowe’en? I don’t really get the fascination. It’s even taking on bigger proportions here. Adults as well as kids. Must just be me. Scary scares me!x

    1. There’s no shutting me up, it seems. Even in comments. 😉 I do like dressing up, doing a bit of acting but I’m just not big on Hallowe’en. Too many years of thinking up and making costumes maybe. I liked it well enough as a kid. I just don’t get the fascination adults have for it. Or the fact that it appears to be becoming an even bigger festival. We used to just dress up, go out round the neighbourhood and that was that. Now the kids come with adults in tow (sign of the times, I suppose) and some of them are dressed up. The shops go gaga over what they can sell for it. It’s just become another big commercial endeavour. I’m a bit of a spoilsport, maybe. ;)x

      1. or maybe you like to keep it simple?
too complicated for these days…I love helping my daughter do her kids parties, but don’t want to be there for them…
it has the same appeal of Christmas starting before Halloween…by the time it gets here…I am sick of hearing and seeing it….
I think I am getting indifferent in my Crone Season…
Hope you are having a Sunday doing what you do best!

      2. I’ve been out visiting an ex workmate with my two youngest in tow. Nice day, good blether.

I never get prepped for Christmas or anything else for that matter until about the last minute. I hate having to think too far in advance and plan for what I don’t know how I’ll be feeling. I’m kinda like that with lots of things. 😉
So I don’t get too fed up with it before it arrives. More like a mad dash round the shops.
I know people who have their Christmas presents bought and wrapped already. That blows me away.
        Hope you’ve had a lovely relaxing day.x
