bound by inability
to receive,
hands, so tied,
bleed and
souls expire.
unable,
unwilling,
too proud,
to beckon,
accept.
choosing giving
as their grace.
offering
futility,
unwittingly,
frustration
as biased reward.
recipient
impotent,
ashamed,
enraged,
at partisan merit.
resistance to reciprocity,
a delinquency.
balance
unaccepted,
ignored,
rejected,
self-blessing in the giving.
hands tied,
arms
cannot open wide.
equal engagement
nullified.
You are quite amazing!

I am curious. How are you able to write so much beautiful poetry so frequently? Are you always thinking in poetic lingo?
You are an inspiration, I’ve said that before, I think.
