Fusion

One kiss in night

To make all right.

One touch, one glance, one ask.

Trust it’s true and lingers still,

No hardship, lovers’ task.

Dreams live on

When two belong,

Connection does not sever.

Hold tight to reins, accept again,

Two hearts may love deliver.

In darkness deep

Reigns healing sleep,

Fantasy fuels the fever,

Thoughts and feelings, hearts and souls

Make of us believers.

Castles in the air arise,

Fully formed before our eyes,

Entranced by loving reveries,

Shadowed world in night time’s bliss

Negates realities.

Still in mind imagining,

Aspirations, hope may bring,

Unsubstantial visions vie, for

Significance

Seeks  solace, you and I.

Where world of dreams, reality

Coincide outside of fantasy

And love that bubbles up inside

May pour forth,

Dwell and abide.

In day to day of life anointed,

Fate decided and appointed

Who we love and why and how.

We question then accept

And bow.

For greater than a mind’s unease

Resides tenderness that may appease

All who wander in their dreams, wonder in the night,

If life affirming love remains,

Hold on to all so tight.

No lover’s voice with whispered oath,

Still haunted by abandoned ghost,

Delivers words that once they’re spoken

Leaves hurt and loss

Or hearts unbroken.

A measured way,

Some little sway

In expectations’ path

Once again love sustains,

In future we may laugh

At all that seemed such hardship then,

Invoked the mind and so the pen,

Held fast to all that we hold near,

Love remains

It does, my dear.

No love that’s ever given freely

Regrets those words announced so sweetly.

Our hearts not made of solid stone,

Delivered words, all heart displayed,

These do not die alone.
