      1. You see, I be one of those with a very, very short attention span. I have tried to convince those around me that I have ADHD (you would not believe how many time I got that wrong), no go! Yet when they see me type, well, they are so convinced. Yeah, me bad! Now add OCD to that, and then all my normal issues, I can be an handful. So, yeah, short is better.

      2. Shit, Rene, what is it exactly we have in common?!!
I know I like you but, bugger me, I can’t find the common factor here. Is it opposites attract? Or have I just not delved deep enough into my psyche to realise that I may suffer from some of those complaints? ADHD? OCD? I’ve not got any of that. I have got abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz and a few variations on that theme. So, maybe, somewhere in there there is a unity. What do you think? :)x

      3. We love and appreciate Trey. That is what we have in common.
The rest, you liking Hugh, writing looooonnnng poems, tons of kids, and married. I have no idea what else. Does there need to be anything? We are both on Word Press, and we appreciate all the fine writers here.
I know you don’t have OCD. You see I can diagnose you from clear over here. You talk of how dirty your house is, or the need to clean it, every so often. An OCD person is bragging they just organized all their pictures in their Word Press media gallery (which I did yesterday, thank you!), or they would be complaining how the house mate never cleans, or doesn’t clean to their standards (which mum doesn’t at all!). The worst case is they try to diagnose someone in Scotland from Las Vegas, Nevada. You see, you seriously don’t fit. LOL

If you had ADHD, it would have taken you five minutes to get all the letters in order. I am not sure how long it took you to type out the alphabet, but I am sure it wasn’t long. You would type so damn fast, the computer can’t keep up. You would pick apart other’s words (Word Nazi). You see, you don’t fit there either.

I guess you are normal, as normal as you can get being from Scotland and all.

      4. I LOVE YOU! You’re a nut job. But that is what we have in common. I’ve just realised! So go you! And me! Vive la thingy across the ocean. Superb stuff. And you’re right. I am a word nazi. Shit. Did I just admit that?!x

      5. At least you spell thingy right. Trey has a problem with it. Word Nazi strikes again.

Oh, and I thought of this after I pressed the ole reply button: we both know how to swear, and quite effectively as well.

      6. Yeah, I so many times people say, ‘forgive my French’ when the damn word isn’t even French. Okay, the words which are international are: no. Baiser, is fuck in French. Merde is shit in French. Putain is damn. Those are the French words if we are going to swear in French. (I did look these up so don’t go floating off a bunch of French to me!)
        There ya’ go.

      7. Ain’t it weird that the some of the first words we learn in a new language are the curses? I even know how to swear in Gaelic!
I did think, however, that putain referred to a woman of the night as the translation in any number of languages sounds the same. Could be wrong. But, as a word nazi, I seenk not! :)x

      8. After you typed that, did you throw your hand in the air, and say ‘Aye’? And do you have a funny little mustache (which is another French word)?
        Just asking.

      9. Naw. Ah didnae!
Are you taking the piss now?!
I will admit to the fact that I went,’ I’m pretty sure that the derivative word for putain lends itself to any similar types of words in a few languages I have a vague familiarity with’. So there! Shite! That is the equivalent of raising one’s hand in the air and saying, ‘N’est-ce pas?’
My apologies, Rene. I am a word Nazi. Heil words. Or, Heil the Word. One of the two. ;)x
Hitler was still a bastard. And, if truth be told, a bit of an arse! :)x

      10. I would say he was both, and a few other fun words as well.
Yes, I was taking a piss. What of it?
I knew it was another word for the salute thingy, but I really didn’t feel like looking that kind of thing of up.

I know a word we didn’t include: bitch. Wait a minute, I will look up the equivalent.

      11. Oh god, now I don’t want to know. Am I, might I be, could I be, without intention, that word that we’re not even allowed to use in this house? A word so awful that I could say, ‘fuck’ to my mum but never let ‘bitch’ or ‘pig’ or ‘swine’ cross my lips. ‘Biatch’ is how my eldest daughter circumvented the ban. Definitely preferable to the alternative. ;)x

      12. We had that word, Biatch, going around here. It always sounded stupid, and even the high school girl I helped didn’t say it. I think it is a 20 something word. I don’t care for it, as to me saying the original word is just easier. Plus, if someone is a Bitch, then just call them that. I seriously don’t think there would be confusion over the female dog and a rude woman/girl. Do you?☺

      13. No, no confusion. Just really odd that some words offend more than others. Seriously, my vocabulary was greatly inhibited by the fact that some words were just not allowed. Insignificant, seemingly, but usually edged in a meaning my mum just could not thole. So, a whole swathe of words out the window. Just embracing some of them now. ;)x

      14. You know, Trey has a really good grasp of words. He is always surprising me with really cool words. Sometimes I have to look them up, but don’t tell him.

I just finished the Dragon award. Crazy making.

      15. French is a fascinating language when it includes so many of the words that aren’t even French but make for a variety of fun feelings and expressions. 😉
CHIPIE I’ve never heard of. Is that for real? x

      16. As real as the translation gave me. It actually gave me a lot of words for Bitch, so I had the translator translate the French for me back to English. Whew! Then I could tell which translated word was correct. It was very clear then. So, yeah, it be real.
