“I Don’t Support Equality”

This is Miranda, alter ego of Colleen Ballinger, introduced to me by my sixteen year old daughter, Rachel. Rachel loves Miranda and ‘forces’ me to watch her vlogs. Actually, I now find her quite amusing. And even downright funny sometimes.

For those who don’t know her, she is a comedian. And, like most comedians, can encapsulate life humorously and with more truth than argument.

Rachel miranda2 And, just for the hell of it, this is my daughter dressed as Miranda. We’ll pretend that it was for Hallowe’en. But it wasn’t. She just likes dressing up! At 16!

    1. She irritated me when my daughter tried to first show me one of her music videos. I was turned off by the screeching voice. Didn’t quite get that it was a spoof. I really enjoy watching them now though with Rachel. Especially listening to my daughter laugh uproariously and watching the tears run down her cheeks! 🙂 x

      1. It looks very Teen to me. It is not quite a spoof, but a Character. You can’t agree with everything she says, because she says deliberately provocative things to prevent that. She won’t back down, either, but she might make bewildering changes of position. She is a particular type of role-model, a bit like Cartman.

      2. I’ve seen that a few times but I don’t know the names of the characters. I remember watching one where the internet went down all over the US and there was mayhem! Till one of the wee dudes unplugged from the wall and put it back in again. Classic! 🙂 x

  1. Haha really funny. I think if a teen can watch this and get it (unlike some of the hate mailers) it’s a good sign, this comedian is making fun of the system (celebs etc) and rightly so. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Never heard of her before…so funny. OMGosh, the Easter bunny. Have to pass this along to my friends with teen age daughters. (Although they probably are already watching.)
