Lifted

You soothed my soul and carried me

To dawning

Escaping dreams

That haunted in the night.

Lifted me on wings as bright

As morning

Healed my heart

And gave my vision sight.

For the first time in a long time

I lay sleeping

While fears and worries

Flew afar, it seems.

All because your presence

In my living

Recaptured hope

Pervaded all my dreams.

      1. That will be Hughs brother then Sheepivine all soft and wooly since you saw him in your dreams jumping fences! 🙂 x

    1. Thank you so much. I love the way that sounds. And I’m delighted that I have been led to your work. Your play was fabulous. Keen to see and read more of your talent.x

      1. So glad too that I am in line to get your latest poems. They are always different and always part of the same whole. I love the journey your work is taking me on. Top drawer.
