Do you knock opinion’s door with most tentative of raps,
Dispatching your vision, though abstract,
Present in coloured pictures and imagery oblique,
Then fall through it into past perceptive traps?
Do you climb through mindful’s window even when it’s bolted closed,
Leave presents inside mist-glazed shuttered panes,
Donate the gift of seeing through impossible belief,
Bifocalled views delivered once again?
Do you open skylights wide to the purity of air
Breathed to purify, give clarity,
Whisking thoughts around, tornado to the mind,
Inhibited spirit to set free?
Do you wonder, as I do, if the effort in expansion
Is worth the time and trouble it may take,
When failing falters steps, presumes actions retrograde
But success divines the course and what’s at stake?
