Dare To Just Do It!

You’ve got to have a dream. Life demands it.

It’s why you wake up willing, full of fight.

You’ve got to have a dream, like South Pacific,

Dream your dream with vigour and with might.

Fill your heart with loving and with longing,

Close your eyes and visualise the goal.

Dare to dream, I fucking well command it!

Dream, believe and act upon your soul!

For Rene http://nae50.wordpress.com/2014/09/06/a-way-to-live/ and  all who have and choose the dream. Just do it! We can do it together.

Chair Of Dreams

There’s a chair he sits

To meditate

And speculate on life.

It’s a comfy one;

Soft, well-sprung,

Eases all day’s strife.

He rests his head

On cushioned pad

And closes sleepy eyes,

Lets cares of day

Melt swift away,

Thoughts turn to inner sighs.

A restful time,

No work in mind,

Merely moments rest,

A winsome wait, to

Imaginative state, where

Dreams replace life’s best.

Time passing for some seconds

Seems a lifetime

In this way.

Clock ticks the moments

Idly by,

Dreams consummate; life delay.

Close mind to voices,

External noises,

Let angel flutter near

With wings of portent,

Soul be sent,

Eliminate all fear.

There’s a chair he sits,

It looks quite plain, but

Surrealism enhances,

In quietest throes

Of deep repose,

New hope from all dreamt chances.

There’s a chair he sits,

And with eyes closed, so

Angel unobserved,

Blesses hopes and dreams

For him

With gestures but no word.

Fairy Wishes

A fairy in my dreams asked me

Had all my dreams come true.

I looked at her and thought a bit

Then said, as I here I do.

‘A lot of what I longed for

I have already here,

My family and love around,

A cup of greatest cheer.

The other dreams are in my hands,

I hold them carefully,

I treasure them and nourish them

And then I set them free.

If dreams they are to be fulfilled

I have to open hands,

Not so I may drop them

But so they can search the lands

That I may have to wander,

The plans I have to make,

The effort that I’ll put in place

So these dreams may not prove fake.’

She asked me then and offered

Three wishes I would crave,

I thought some more then smiled at her

And answer thus I gave.

‘Three would never satisfy

All I hold inside

And most of what I ask for self

Is really for my pride.

If three there are then let me ask

For what I already see,

The health of all my family,

That’s enough for me.

The second one I pass along

To others for the same,

Renewal in body, spirit, mind.

Then they can play this game

‘And what of number three?’ she said,

‘Now think on carefully.’

‘I would wish that others knew, believed,

They’re the change they have to be.’

Fusion

One kiss in night

To make all right.

One touch, one glance, one ask.

Trust it’s true and lingers still,

No hardship, lovers’ task.

Dreams live on

When two belong,

Connection does not sever.

Hold tight to reins, accept again,

Two hearts may love deliver.

In darkness deep

Reigns healing sleep,

Fantasy fuels the fever,

Thoughts and feelings, hearts and souls

Make of us believers.

Castles in the air arise,

Fully formed before our eyes,

Entranced by loving reveries,

Shadowed world in night time’s bliss

Negates realities.

Still in mind imagining,

Aspirations, hope may bring,

Unsubstantial visions vie, for

Significance

Seeks  solace, you and I.

Where world of dreams, reality

Coincide outside of fantasy

And love that bubbles up inside

May pour forth,

Dwell and abide.

In day to day of life anointed,

Fate decided and appointed

Who we love and why and how.

We question then accept

And bow.

For greater than a mind’s unease

Resides tenderness that may appease

All who wander in their dreams, wonder in the night,

If life affirming love remains,

Hold on to all so tight.

No lover’s voice with whispered oath,

Still haunted by abandoned ghost,

Delivers words that once they’re spoken

Leaves hurt and loss

Or hearts unbroken.

A measured way,

Some little sway

In expectations’ path

Once again love sustains,

In future we may laugh

At all that seemed such hardship then,

Invoked the mind and so the pen,

Held fast to all that we hold near,

Love remains

It does, my dear.

No love that’s ever given freely

Regrets those words announced so sweetly.

Our hearts not made of solid stone,

Delivered words, all heart displayed,

These do not die alone.

End Of The Road

Maybe dreams of flying are not always for the best! Same song, different result.

Precipice ran to meet,

Beckoning this one leap,

Fall into the chasm,

Dream, forever sleep

In arms of love’s surrender,

Crashed against its sides,

Anointed bloody union,

Hearts split open wide.

Crushed at zenith’s falling,

Dashed hopes lie, heavy broken.

Flight of fantasy, marred by truth,

End of the road, was spoken.
