Right

When the upsurge

Rises,

Spurts!

And truth explodes

With meaning,

No argument

Or reasoned clause

Subverts

That inner

Feeling.

Acknowledged worth

Of human brain

With heart

And soul

And might

Embraces freedom,

Humanity;

Instinctively

Knows what’s

Right.

Let’s Begin

I call to you now.

Nothing elusive,

Fragmented,

Philosophical.

Nothing

Ethereal,

Unworldly,

Unknown.

Only shared

Understanding.

I call.

As any bird

Has ever whistled to another,

As whales describe

The ocean

In surreal sounds

That haunt forever

And teach patience

Understanding

And love.

I call to you now

As a human,

As a woman.

As me.

There is no other.

Just as there is no other

You.

I call to all you are,

Have ever been

And wish to be.

As you were created.

As you have become.

In all the ailments

And hurts you know

And feel.

In all that you think.

I call.

There is a oneness

That unites.

The air we breathe.

The hearts that beat.

The biological.

Let’s begin there.

Tears Are Not Enough

Every cell in my body wants to resist this image. To not publish. To never have seen it. To believe it is not possible. I promised a fellow blogger far away that I would help in words and images. And tears are not enough so I must.

slaughter of innocents http://speakup4syrianchildren.tumblr.com/

In the name

Of the fathers

And mothers,

Of everything

That has ever been

Held holy

To Man,

Is this ever acceptable?

Ever?

Can there be

Anything,

Anything at all

That justifies

This?

Any god

By name

Or nationality

Will question

Any human

By nature

Who accepts

Innocents

Slaughtered.

Our tears

Are not enough.

Far Away

Do you feel my arms around you

                                                            far away?

Need for physical contact to remember

You’re human,

A woman.

Can you feel my tears mingling with yours

                                                            far away?

Sharing your sadness and grief.

For the pain, the loss

In your life.

Do you know you are loved though

                                                            far away?

Human to human

Woman to woman

One love in life.

Close your eyes and wrap arms,

                                                            far away,

Around self and know that it’s me,

Hugging you closely, gently

And loving the humanity of you.

Know you’re loved by others still

                                                            far away

Distance merely an illusion.

Your needs are my needs.

The needs of the world.

Hugs and love from far away.

For Rene, especially. A very special lady. Fighting through pain and adversity with courage and humour.

And also for all who need the hugs. We all do.

Perfect Disparity

Where he goes she follows still.

Quo vadis? This her way,

Though guidance lacks illumination,

Direction gone astray.

Dimly lit the forest path,

Crescent slits dark blue,

Myriad beacons lost in night,

Light years unfiltered through.

Stars above cannot conceive

Of empty hollow space.

Should she now lead where he may go?

Alternate human race.

Or side by side,

In step, in tune,

Guided by

Night’s brightest moon

And daylight’s orb;

Disparate norm.

Day and night,

In perfect form.

Forget Love?

No one forgets; and I don’t forget.

How can we forget when we love?

It buries down deep; infuses our being,

Suffuses our senses; leaves our thoughts reeling.

Who can forget when they’ve loved? Even lost?

Why would we want to though love counts a cost?

But the cost that it counts is a price that, once paid,

Cherishes life and feelings we’ve shared.

It harbours belief in fortunes they tell

And harkens to kismet and spiritual bell.

It listens to prayers and hears when we call

It values our worth and shares out to all.

Hurts they will come from the knife edge of love, but,

Though razored through, we heal and behove

Love to all others, for once we have known

Amity in lives, it must then be shown

To all whom we meet, with a zest for our living,

A passion for life, a thought to what’s given

To others who seek a touch and a taste

Of what lies within all but proceeds from all chaste;

The fountain of life, with a stream gushing forth,

Channelling energy and life-giving source.

We bless and we keep those moments we feel

The love of another for love feelings are real.

Love lasts forever though some may depart

For love is eternal in soul and in heart.

Those gone now, departed, by death or from choice

Loved once, if but briefly, still cause to rejoice.

My mind is awash with the feelings I feel

A wondrous reunion with spirits, all real.

Those whom I’ve loved, those loving still.

That’s all. Just a force that works with free will.

Love’s never lost. Never I say.

For into the ether love travels and stays.

It lurks in the corners of those ever loved

And grows or diminishes as life takes its course.

But once it’s created in hearts and in minds

It flourishes, flies and source it will find

Where all may return to the plain we were born, till

All love shines in splendour, the most glorious dawn.

A Feeling

There’s a movement afoot,

Can you feel it?

A dawning, a heavenly herald,

A belief in the brotherhood

Of humanity.

It’s sweeping right over the world.

There’s an aura of great expectation,

Of light

To pour from above,

Like drowning

In oceans of wonder,

Suffused with unending love.

There’s a knowledge that’s

Patently pending,

Already it’s making its way

From nation to nation,

Through calm contemplation,

Simple souls inspired, come what may.

There’s a phoenix that’s forming

From ashes,

His wings are ready to fly,

Head raised aloft,

His tone one so soft

Recurring death his reason for why

There’s a waiting in anticipation,

Vast wings

To envelop and keep

All souls together,

To tackle whatever,

Arousing our spirits from sleep.

There’s a beacon that’s shed

From great lighthouse

Protecting all fleets from the reefs

Station the braces,

Let wind fill the main sail,

Make ready to fulfil beliefs.

Bay Alone At The Moon

Lupine intensity, eyes full of fire,

Transfixed prey, on the prowl,

Keen self-absorption

On quarry to kill,

Predator may later howl

For hunting alone, apart from the pack,

Though separate in each identity,

Risks hunter becoming

Game for another,

No one alone is certified entity.

Outlaw to nature and natural ways,

Outcast from familial brood,

Danger and fear,

Paranoia instilled,

Bloodline means that you should

Be part of the pack, still standing alone

On hill, eyes fixed on the moon,

Remembering self,

But existing with all,

Such bay is much more in tune

With natural law and affinity,

Antecedents denying the need

To hunt all alone

Nor bite where you’re loved,

Nor sever the hand that helps feed.
