We Are One

Taste sweet unity,

Inhale essence of

Understanding.

We are one.

Pain and love felt,

Synchronicity,

Simplicity.

We are one.

Truths whispered,

Known

And heard.

We are one.

Best and worst,

Inherent

In all.

We are one.

Beauty surveyed

In shared eyes,

Seeing all.

We are one.

Loneliness

Departed,

Hands joined.

We are one.

Carved,

Moulded,

Created from one.

We are one.

More Than Mere Words

Are you ok?

Are you well?

I need to know these things.

When I care, I care.

I can’t make that go away.

Are you thriving?

Are you happy?

Do you need someone?

Is life blessing your days?

Is there a way I can help?

Just say.

Love is what it is.

And spreads.

Be well.

Be blessed by love.

Don’t be afraid.

Or alone.

How are you?

More than mere words.

Don’t Be Alone

There are those who are lonely,

So desperately lonely,

Even when surrounded by friends.

There are those whose physical pain goes on

And they question if it ever will end.

There are those whose pain is an emotional one,

Those who ponder life’s end solution to ease,

The darkest of any confession.

There are those who carry a burden of guilt

And those with deepest depression.

There are those whose hearts seem

Broken in two,

Those whose hatred is well justified,

Whose angst and sorrow is boundless, but

It seems to eat them alive.

There are those who feel as others feel,

Hearts  full of despair

With righteous cause and frustration.

There’s sadness that feels like a terminal disease,

States to country and nation.

It weeps,

It seeps

Into pores

And floods,

There is hurt,

So much hurt,

It feels

There is blood.

There are those who imagine an end

Of all life

So suffering and sadness will cease,

Whose pleas on their pages

Know terrible loss

And pain that knows no release.

The hurt that abounds

Is palpable here,

A microcosm of earth,

Sharing distress and souls set on fire,

Crying for song of rebirth.

There are those whose posts are filled with good cheer

And those that say nothing at all

Of feelings or thoughts

Or what lives within,

Preferring a different recall.

But for those who are here

Whose very beings starve,

Seeking for someone to listen,

Bear in mind

That we all have these feelings.

It’s part of the human condition.

If no one is there to answer your needs,

No family or friend will suffice,

A message in private may help find release.

Do it and don’t even think twice.

I’ve no great answers

In fact, I have none,

Just a sense of the life that we share,

Please don’t be alone,

If you need a vessel,

Remember that someone is there.

It may not be me,

It could be another

But many there are who believe

That a problem full shared,

Whispered and heard

Is a problem that’s going nowhere

Except to be halved

Or quartered,

Diminished,

Maybe not ever to be

Over or finished

But lessened because

Someone cares.

So don’t be alone

Whatever your reasons,

There’s someone on here,

A man for your seasons

Or woman,

A friend,

A fellowship found.

Please don’t despair,

Don’t sink to the ground

Without looking up

Or inwards or out.

There’s someone for you,

Please just give a shout,

If only to curse at life’s

Little foibles,

Its terrors,

Its spectres,

Its myriad of troubles.

There are those who have offered this to me

And I’ve done the same in return.

You’ll know who to trust,

You may never need

But remember there’s always someone.

So when strength and solutions

Are quite overcome,

Sincerely believe

There is always a one.

Don’t be alone.

Please, don’t be alone.

To a Dear One

It’s strange the way life seems to go,

Those deserving get no show

Of all the things that make life grand

A touch, a taste, the hold of hand

To mask the loneliness within.

Relieve the aching want.

Life is such a bitch at times

She really is, (don’t know what rhymes)

But, rest assured, I’ll hammer doors,

I’ll kick them in on all the floors

To ensure

You have that love.

There is no other one I know

Quite so deserving so I’ll go

To where He waits to answer pleas,

I’ll get down on my bended knees.

I swear

You will know love.

I trust in God, I have no fear,

He asks sometimes for curse and swear.

He’s cool with that, I know this too,

He created all, so nothing new

To He that holds all answers

To our prayers.

My selfishness has known no end

A truly jealous awful friend

Who sought to keep

All I saw deep.

Not mine to own

I fear.

But fear not you, I guarantee,

I shout for all who’re close to me

And all others who have need.

I’m bad, at times, but not to feed

From others hurt or misery.

That really is not me.

Watch this space. You hear? I say.

Not many days from hence, I pray,

A love will come and in her grasp

She’ll hold the future you will clasp.

I’m sad,

This loss for me.

But greater than my selfish need, desire

Is happiness for you. I aspire

To turn your cause into my own

To make your house a loving home.

Just watch.

I know the way.

You see, my faith is quite perturbed

When others think that I’m disturbed

Believing what I know to be

In trust and reckless honesty

And vows and wishes.

I see the way.

My gentle friend with heart of gold

Always in my heart I’ll hold

A place for one who is unique

Who loves and wants but cannot speak

Of all

That he would wish.

I’ll wish for you. I’m great at this.

I send to you my fondest kiss

And all the prayers that I can muster

Gathered in a bouquet, cluster

Of joyous

Sweetest dream.

Now go to rest, your life is mine

While you renew the trials of time.

Awake anew, I don’t know when

But life, for you, begins again.

This,

I promise you.
