Out from the valley where mountain tops skewed, banked
clouds unloading, distorting all views, floods upon desert,
once arid and red, carpet of green, festooned flower bed,
sending scents risen on pillows of air, gasps of delight
flotilla’d here, there, perfuming horizons as far as the eye,
delected infusion, wafts powder’d nearby, out from the valley,
suspended to coasts, sleep inhaled haze, breathless pause
where it rose, gardenia’d slumber, drifts where it falls, drifting
and falling, meadow lark calls, glade in the valley, mountains
that sigh, cloud bank rolls on, another forbye, swelling the arid,
perfuming the breeze, out from the valley, cloud carried with ease.
