Your photos breathe the beauty of connection
I bring what I can
Your depth of love and willing intervention
I bring what I can
Your wisdom voiced with ageless perception
I bring what I can
Your mysticism met with introspection
I bring what I can
Your analysis, reasoned frustration
I bring what I can
Your healing gentleness and understanding
I bring what I can
Your thoughtful prose and poetry, attention
I bring what I can
Your humour, stoicism, recollections
I bring what I can
Your friendship ‘cross the distance, humbled
I bring what I can
All grist to the mill from splendid isolation
We bring what we can
So many faceless voices, willing
Aspirants of worldly entente cordiale.
In reading and commenting on blogs today, and the word ‘isolation’ running through my mind since waking, I find myself humbled and grateful to be part of this great blogging community. So many others I could have mentioned. So many people everywhere bringing life and thought to their pages. Always reaching out. Bless you all. And, as my lovely blogging bud, Rene, always says in closing her emails and posts – Peace and Love.
Thank you so much, Anne-Marie. I am humbled and encouraged. I’m having a crap day today. What you bring is beautiful friendship. Thank you so much!!! ❤

your kind recognition touches me deeply – we are all indeed fortunate in our blogging connections – we have grown fascinating new interactive communities from the very ether we breathe – new thoughts, new perspectives, and new friendships not the least of our rewards

I should be thanking you, Beth. It was partly through our conversation today that had me thinking about what we all uniquely bring to this community. A sense of never being isolated when there are so many reaching out. Do check out the links. You won’t be sorry. You already know at least one. 🙂 x

Thanks, Anne-Marie – a clever way to link some great work. By the way, you bring a lot to the table; and I mean that sincerely. Take care. Chris.

Many thanks, Chris. I wanted to try and link a few people up who might not have met, people who all bring so much to me in so many different ways and styles. An awesome band of brethren that I’d be glad to chat and raise a glass with. Folk who feel like kindred spirits.

Thank you my friend, I am humbled to be included, I have met some fine writers and down right good folks through our connection here on Word Press, and for that I truly thank you. Shalom.

Joining the dots, Daniel. I always liked that even as a kid, seeing the whole picture materialise. Everything I read and see here on WP helps me with the bigger picture, just knowing that there is a world of people so much bigger and better than what is reported in news. Thoughts and feelings expressed that bring hope and unity. Shalom to you, Daniel, to us all.

Thank you, Willow. Never completely isolated but the sense of it can be overwhelming when it looks as if the world is going mad. A collective here of great people reassures me that it’s not so, so many trying to keep it sane both here and in their lives. Thank you for your kindness.x

Thank you momus, I am very grateful to be included in this lovely post, it is, as always, written from the heart and soul of a total giver. Whether that be your writing or teaching, you always include us all in what you share.
You were one of the first I encountered when I wandered in unannounced, and with that great love you accepted and guided my journey in this world, all around the world, of hearts in our pens being shared by all.
Thank you for ‘bringing what you can’, which has always been thoughtful, funny, but most of all, with a sharing and inclusiveness that only you can give. Mark

Coming late to the world of blogging, Mark, I could kick myself for years of frustrated writing and communication, never realising that there was this means to connect with so many like-minded, like-hearted people. I tend to think that bloggers are other than merely aspiring writers but a breed of people anxious to understand and to be understood and to share those perceptions, hopefully for the greater good. There’s fun in it too, of course, that’s the bonus. Some silliness from time to time, light hearted banter, a giggle to lift the serious. But, overall, a real sense of connection and great joy to know that in a world where so many may feel isolated or disillusioned there are people who think and feel so much like ourselves. Small world when all considered and all it takes is words put into action. I’m chuffed that you and so many others are in my world sharing your words and perceptions. Helps to make my sense of the world clearer and more hopeful. Thank you.x

Love this, A-M- and thanks for the link. Just walked in the door from the cottage, so must get cleaned up and laundered and all that sort of thing. Hope the break will get some creative juices flowing… chat soon! xo

What a lovely way of acknowledging this great community of “strangers.” I can’t wait to return (after babysitting for the overlord) and browse.

Thank you kindly for visiting at all. I’m tempted to ask who the overlord is but not sure I should! 🙂

My 2 yr-old grandson. He’s been in a few of my posts as “the overlord” since his cuteness has us all under his thumb.
